Unmissable: Platinum Jubilee events

This weekend we celebrate the 70 years Queen Elizabeth II has been on the throne. Whether you are coming up to London for one of the formal events or just meeting up with friends and family to watch on TV, this is a fabulously historic and unique occasion. Visit the website of the Royal Family to find out more about the timings of the Trooping of the Colour (11am Thursday 2nd June), Platinum Party at the Palace (Saturday evening 4th June BBC1 7.30pm) and The Platinum Jubilee Pageant (Sunday 5th June from 2.30pm with a procession from Whitehall up the Mall to Buckingham Palace). There will be plenty of opportunities to join the crowds and spot the Royal family or alternatively watch on TV as the nation celebrates.
