Covent Garden is a magical place to visit in the run up to Christmas. Revel in the festive atmosphere as you sip your mulled wine or hot chocolate. Listen to the buskers under the mistletoe lights and shop until you drop before popping in for a carol service or some charity Christmas cards at the historic St Paul's church. Designed by architect Inigo Jones, some 400 years ago, it's known as "the actor's church' with memorials to Sir Charlie Chaplin, Sir Noel Coward and Ivor Novello.
