The Globe!

Did you know that the Globe Theatre burnt down over 400 years ago because a canon misfired during a performance of Henry VIII and set fire to the thatching! Sam Wanamaker's magnificent reconstruction is superb and this summer is hosting performances of "As You Like It" from August 18th until the end of October. What a historic place to watch one of Shakespeare's classic and timeless comedies with tickets from £5 standing or more for the galleries where you're sheltered from the inclement weather and can settle back on hired cushion to enjoy the fun. There's also a family show, guided tours and an acclaimed production of "Macbeth". Do go and enjoy this magnificent theatre and all it has to offer!
