Fabulous City Pageantry!

The 800 year-old Lord Mayor's Show is ON this Saturday, 13th November in the City of London! A fabulous spectacle harking back to the Medieval tradition when the Mayor travelled to Westminster from the City to swear loyalty to the Sovereign on an annual basis. I'd highly recommend going along if you can. It's FREE to view and in years past St Paul's Cathedral is also FREE to visit on the day. The 'floats' in the procession go back to the days when this fantastic procession was held on the River Thames!
