City Christmas!

At the heart of the centre of the City of London is "Bank Junction", home to the Bank of England and the Royal Exchange. Christmas decorations include a beautiful Christmas tree and candy striped ribbons around the columns of the Royal Exchange.

Once the site of the Tudor trading exchange (opened by Elizabeth I almost five hundred years ago), the current building is a leading luxury retail, dining and socialising spot. Major brands such as Tiffany & Co., Omega, Montblanc and Hermès all have outlets here. Just down the road is Leadenhall Market which lies on the site of the forum - the commercial centre of Roman Londinium some 2000 years ago. The Victorian market’s Christmas decorations include a glittering Christmas with large red and gold baubles. Take a stroll through the twinkling light tunnel in Beehive Passage, as you browse the shops or choose somewhere to take in the festive cheer in the atmospheric and historic cobbled alleyways. Retailers include high-end fashion, cheeky cheesemongers, booksellers and bespoke florists. For something a little different why not try Old Tom's Bar where British cheese and charcuterie are paired with top quality wines or La Viña where you can eat tapas and speciality dishes along with a Spanish range of wine, sangrias and speciality cocktails! Only in London can we savour that potent mix of history, celebration and variety!
