Trooping the Colour 2024

Here are some dates for your diary! Trooping the Colour takes place on Horse Guards Parade not just once but three times each summer! The first Trooping the Colour Reviews are 'The Major General's Review' (Saturday 1st June) and then 'The Colonel's Review' (Saturday 8th June). Tickets will be on sale shortly from this website.

On June 15th, His Majesty the King travels on horseback from Buckingham Palace and takes the salute at the official Trooping the Colour (Kings Birthday Parade), which is the highlight of the ceremonial calendar. Over 1400 officers and men, two hundred horses and the Massed Bands of the Household Division are on parade. Afterwards, at 1pm the King and the Royal Family watch a fly-past by the Royal Air Force from the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
