Chancellor Imprisoned in the Tower!

300 years ago, John Aislabie, Chancellor of the Exchequer was found guilty of corruption relating to the South Sea scandal and was imprisoned in the Tower of London! He was expelled from the House of Commons and removed from the Privy Council. A scapegoat or truly guilty?
